Amnesty International accused the Nigerian government on Thursday of attempting to cover up the killing of a dozen citizens during peaceful protests in Lagos last October.
In the lead up to the final funeral rites of Ghana’s first President of the Fourth Republic, Flight Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings, there were reports of the former leader bearing children with other women outside his marriage with Nana Konadu.
One after the other, representatives of world leaders and Ghanaians from all walks of life filed into the Black Star Square (Independence Square) to pay their last respects to a towering leader, Jerry John Rawlings, who held power for two decades in Ghana.
