We will keep fighting until the final day- Swansea star Andre Ayew warns

Dede Ayew poised for action

Swansea City assistant captain Andre Ayew says the team will 'keep fighting' till the end in order to secure a play off spot in the English Championship.

Ayew is 30 years and he is having a good time with the Swans, scoring 14 goals already in this season, and was key as they drew against Blackburn last weekend.

This is what 30-year old forward said:

“It’s very disappointing. That’s two games in the space of 72 hours where we’ve conceded in stoppage time,”

“It’s difficult to take because we’ve lost points. But we’ve shown a lot of character and determination along the way. We need to learn quickly. We can’t keep conceding in the last minutes.

“The lads gave everything, especially in the second half. We need to keep going. We’ll make sure we put things right on Saturday.”

There are ten more games to end the English championship and a place in the playoffs spot is at stake. Ayew has charged his teammates to fight for a good end to the season.

“The good thing is that we’re now only four points off the play-off places. Obviously, it could have been two, but we have closed the gap,” said the Ghanaian.

“We must try to get three points on Saturday and move closer. We’ll keep fighting until the last day; we’re not going to give up.”
